Just returned from a company trip at the land of the Orang Utans... But i did not see any Orang Utans...keke....
Well, hasn't really been anticipating for this trip, as i felt that Kuching doesn't really have anything that interests me... And Boy!!! How wrong was I.... I particularly enjoyed the 2nd day of the trip becos we went to this Kuching Cultural Village and visited some of the LongHouses which is something like an exclusive property found only in that region... Learnt a few things about the 7 ethnic groups of the place. But the "headhunter" tribes are the ones that amazed me the most... They hang skulls from their rooftops... skulls taken from the carcasses of their defeated foes as trophies... And from wad i heard from them, it also means that if u are single, the more skulls u collected, the more u are being an "eligible bachelor". well, maybe its also a good way to impress the gal by killing ur rivals...keke....
But thotx of having the skulls of men hanging in my living room gives me the creeps... guess i am better off heading down to Chinatown buying some new year decorations rather than going around looking for prospective targets to behead.. Anyway, Haloween is just over and i am sure i dun need to decorate my house looking like some haunted mansion in AmityVille.
Got to know a few natives thru one of my collegue and boy are they friendly and hospitable... Almost everynite, they have been bringing my and a few colleagues around buzzing thru the nitelife of Kuching and showing to us the Sinaporeans really pale in drinking compared to them... Have i forgotten to mention that they also brought us around to taste the goodies of Kuching... Kolo Mee, Sarawak Laksa, Fishball noodles, chicken wings etc etc... hmmm.... Yummy!!! and not to mention finger licking good too (sorry colonel for stealing ur line).
Hopefully this short but memorable trip to Kuching will recharge me and make me scale to higher heights... Speaking of trips, i am starting to miss bangkok... That idiot Allan make me so envious.. going over to Thailand for 3 whole solid weeks!!! Guess should be planning a trip in the near future soon.... Wanna get back my passion of visiting temples, paying my respects to the famous monks, re-visiting my Guru at his home and also to see the newly erected Phra Phom statue(4-face Buddha). Its been up for like 5 mths and i've not even been up there once to see it... Shame on me!!!
Guess here's where i will leave u guys and will update again when i am free.... Ciaoz...

Life is just like a piece of paper... Started as a blank, and as the days passed by, we began decorating it with pictures and literature. The results of the final masterpiece depends on how u paint it.. and these pictures and literature will become our story.... OUR MEMORIES...
