Now den i realise how long i've not flipped through the newspapers or even switched on Channel news asia. Cos news that has been harping around Singapore for the past week, i only heard it from my friends yesterday... Singapore is gonna increase our GST to 7% next year... Haiz... More to pay for.. But pay nvr increase...
But to look on the bright side.. it might mean that our Government will be giving us Ang Pows again... dunno how much they will come out with this time.. $400?? $500?? Well well... this amount ain't gonna get me thru 5 years of tax increase...
Went for a movie on thursday.. Watched the Convanent... been a long time since i last went to catch a movie.. and my last movie before this was the Da Vinci Code.. and wad a difference these 2 movies were... Da Vinci code was sheer class, high tempo and exciting. The Convanent? Well, its supposed to be a story about Wicca, and end of the day, i dun see anything on witchcraft.. Just more to a few superhumans with special abilities and fighting each other like the Street Fighter Arcade games.. And best part?? The villian of the show turned up missing at the end which means all of us could expect a part 2 to this show...
Other than all these, its been another uneventful week for me again... Wad else to expect?? haha... But just like my motto.. Xtreme 2day, Worry tomorrow....
Going over to Kusu later again... before the lunar 9th month comes to a close... Remembered an old folklore that Kusu Island was manifested by a giant turtle who picked up a group of Chinese immigrants who were ship wrecked and transforming itself into an island... Wad a beautiful tale... I love folklores... they always make u feel the world is so good... Good begets Good, Evil begets Evil.... That's always the moral of the story....

Finally reaching the end of my alchohol fasting.. Nxt monday to be exact... Should be happy rite?? Well yes and no.... yes cos finally i dun need to be restricted by alcohol consumption.. and no cos after about a month of not drinking.. i felt my urge for drinking has actually dropped to a near zero....
Dat's life though.. u win some, u lose some... when u thought u gained something, u lose something else... life is cruel and fate is a game... dat's wad i've always thought of Destiny... They make fools out of ppl and they enjoy the show up there.... Nobody alive can really claim that he or she is really happy... There must be something lingering within u and me which makes us cling on to something... And u know wad's the sad part about life??? We can fight against destiny but we can nvr win... But rather to die as a hero than live as a coward right???
So lets just get on with life and fight till the end.. at least when i close my eyes for the last time, i would have no regrets.. cos i know i've tried.....

A good few days for me... Well, been addicted to Football Manager 2007... been playing till the wee hours everyday... haiz... but it sure is good trying to be a good maanger... keeping the players happy, the fans happy and of cos the Board of Directors happy and getting good results throughout... Now, everyday only feels like going home and switching on my pc to play the game...
Friday also saw another 2 attachment students leave the office... i tink they are the 8th or 9th batch i've seen come and go... wonder when will be my turn...keke...
Today going home early to watch the Arsenal Vs Liverpool showdown later.. hopefully the Pools gonna whack the balls off the arrogant Arsenals.... But in reality, i think its difficult menz... haiz...

Been having mixed feelings recently, well not gonna reveal much till the time is rite... been quite some time since i've been to Sentosa... and also dunno y got the urge to go there now... really missed the beach of Sentosa...
Life is really getting more and more monotonous.. Well lucky for me, an attachment student JH just burnt me 2 soccer manager games.. hopefully can keep me occupied for the next couple of weeks.. hopefully my antique pc at home can manage the games....lolz...
Yeah... In this year's World Pool Championships, finally a Singaporean has made it to the last 32 of the tournament.... 3 cheers to KK Chan, u did singapore proud... He got the gold for the SEA Games last year.. hopefully he can emulate his success further and go far in this tournament.. Good Luck KK. One thing i like about him is he is one of those few home grown talent that wasn't "Imported".
Maybe going over to Kusu Island dis weekend again... This time i will make sure i dun eat pork accidentally like the last time when i ate fried wanton without realising that there's pork contents inside.. drats....
12 more days to go and i can end my liquor diet... Cheer for me peepz...

Been so long since i last went to Kusu Island... changed so much... Actually dunno how much its been changed cos i only have vague memories of that place... lolz..
But used to remember last time the ferry ride like veri bumpy and long.. n0w it only took 15 mins from mainland... also took the ferry from the new ferry terminal at Marina Bay...
Anyway, its nice to be there.. seems so different from mainland... so peaceful... maybe will go again later dis month ba....
